Mon rêve à une table de poker

______________________________WSOP Main Event $10 000, plus de 5000 joueurs, il reste deux tables. Je marche sur les tapis et je suis chipleader avec $50 millions. Gus Hansen est deuxième au chipcount avec la moitié. Il sait que je sais qui c’est. Lui, il ne me connaît pas encore. Mais il ne va pas tarder, ah ah ah !

Je suis au petit blind et lui au gros, blinds 400k/800k.

On se montre nos jeux, en les lançant presque simultanément « face up ». Et je lui lance sur un air frimeur italien italien qui lève l’épaule, incline brutalement son cou sur le côté en fermant un oeil :

… jouais bien au poker ? A la partie de jeudi prochain, je vais jouer comme si j’étais Gus Hansen.

Je vais faire le travail de tout comédien et imiter the great Dane, du moins dans la stratégie de jeu que j’ai pu comprendre de lui. Avant je dois faire un crochet au distributeur pour avoir dans les poches la profondeur de mes prétentions.

Je vais tellement agresser la table que je vais les rendre fous. Je vais jouer mes 500 premiers euros comme ça (cave 10 euros, blinds 0,25/0,25) et je serai le seul gagnant bien sûr. Je vais relancer comme un damné tous les coups, pot pot et repot. Je finirai en duel avec le gambleur de la table, Sir Mo, toujours prêt à jouer toute sa thune à pile ou face, à griller son dernier billet mais en jouant toujours aussi fort.

Son jeu est intéressant en cela. Tout le monde sait qu’il n’hésiterait pas à tout mettre quoi qu’il arrive. Donc de deux choses l’une. Soit tout le monde se couche et il emporte le pot sans montrer son jeu, soit un joueur va à tapis aussi, et là c’est du bingo avec 50% de chance de gagner et pas un pourcentage de plus. Et cela doit lui procurer beaucoup de bien quand il gagne, et quand il perd lui faire ressentir un certain fatalisme , rien à voir avec d’éventuelles erreurs de jugement. Non, quand il perd, ce n’est pas de sa faute, c’est le sort qui en a décidé ainsi… Mon coco, jeudi tu vas rencontrer ton jumeau, mais ça ne va pas sympathiser.

Allez on va dire que demain je joue le personnage de Mo, c’est presque plus ambitieux. Zob !
